The SSOM-i.MX8MP-CHINCHILLA is compatible with the i.MX 8M Plus EVK and its carrier board. Although the SSOM-i.MX8MP-CHINCHILLA is smaller than the i.MX 8M Plus SoM on the i.MX 8M Plus EVK, it maintains signal compatibility. As a result, developers can refer to the documentation and software of NXP's standard development kit, the i.MX 8M Plus EVK.
This two-board solution comprises a compact 2.3”x2.3” compute module and a larger base board that provides the broad connectivity needed for product evaluation. The compute module serves as a proven, compact reference to accelerate your own design.
